You can apply for studies flexibly throughout the year.
The available study programmes vary depending on which fields currently have open study places.
Vocational training comprises vocational basic qualifications, vocational qualifications, specialist vocational qualifications, and preparatory education for an upper secondary qualification (TUVA). In addition, you can bolster your expertise via short training courses and card training courses.
Continuous application is for you if you
- Want to complete a vocational qualification, further vocational qualification, specialist vocational qualification, or individual parts of a qualification.
- Want to update or expand your skills by completing parts of a qualification.
- Already have work experience but not a formal qualification.
- Want to complete a vocational qualification through an apprenticeship.
- Want to apply to TUVA, the preparatory education for vocational studies.
Different Ways to Complete a Qualification
If you already have previous experience or skills but not a qualification, you can demonstrate your competence through competence-based tests.
You may have gained relevant skills through work, hobbies, volunteering, or community activities.
If you already have a job, you can complete your qualification through an apprenticeship.
If you are unemployed, you can study as part of labour market training or independently while receiving unemployment benefits.
How to Apply Through Continuous Application
- Find a programme that interests you in our study calendar.
- Carefully read the information about the programme, its schedule, and selection criteria.
- Submit your application.
Application Processing and Student Selection
- Fill in your application carefully. In the continuous application process, applicants are scored based on the information provided in the application form and any required attachments.
- You will be notified of the selection results by email to the address you provided in your application. For underage applicants, the result will also be sent to the guardian.
