Security deposit

The tenant pays a security deposit of €200 to the landlord before moving into the rental apartment. The deposit serves as security for the landlord in case the tenant does not fulfill the terms of the lease agreement. The security deposit can be used for the following purposes:
• Repairing damages caused by the tenant.
• Covering cleaning costs if the apartment is not properly cleaned.
• Collection costs of rent arrears if the tenant has not paid the rent.
If the tenant has fulfilled all obligations according to the agreement, the security deposit will be returned to the tenant’s Finnish bank account at the end of the tenancy.
